Thandai using Homemade Thandai Premix (Holi Special)

What you'll need:

 For Thandai Premix -

  1. Almonds (Badam) - ½ cup
  2. Cashew Nuts (Kaju) - ½ cup
  3. Cardamom (Green Eliachi) - 10 to 15 pieces
  4. Poppy Seeds (Khus Khus) - 1 tbsp
  5. Rose Petals - 2 tbsp
  6. Black Pepper - 2 tbsp
  7. Fennel Seeds(Saunf) - 2 tbsp
  8. Sugar - 4 tbsp/As per taste

 For Thandai - 

  1. Milk - 4 cups
  2. Thandai Premix (prepared using above ingredients for Thandai Premix) - 1 to 2 tbsp
  3. Ice Cubes - As required

 For Garnishing the Thandai - 

  1. Chopped Dry Fruits - 1 tsp
  2. Dried Rose Petals - ½ tsp

How to make?

  • Firstly, take a grinding jar, add all the above Thandai Premix ingredients except Rose Petals & Sugar & grind it to a powder form.
  • Now, add Rose Petals & Sugar and churn once again so that everything blends well.
  • Finally, your Thandai Premix is ready to be used or stored for 3 to 4 months in an air tight jar/container in fridge.

 For preparing Thandai -

  • Firstly, take a grinding jar & grind all the above three Thandai ingredients.
  • Then, garnish your Thandai using Garnishing the Thandai ingredients.
  • Finally, your Thandai is ready to be served.
