Thandai using Homemade Thandai Premix (Holi Special)
What you'll need: For Thandai Premix -- Almonds (Badam) - ½ cup
- Cashew Nuts (Kaju) - ½ cup
- Cardamom (Green Eliachi) - 10 to 15 pieces
- Poppy Seeds (Khus Khus) - 1 tbsp
- Rose Petals - 2 tbsp
- Black Pepper - 2 tbsp
- Fennel Seeds(Saunf) - 2 tbsp
- Sugar - 4 tbsp/As per taste
For Thandai - - Milk - 4 cups
- Thandai Premix (prepared using above ingredients for Thandai Premix) - 1 to 2 tbsp
- Ice Cubes - As required
For Garnishing the Thandai - - Chopped Dry Fruits - 1 tsp
- Dried Rose Petals - ½ tsp
How to make?- Firstly, take a grinding jar, add all the above Thandai Premix ingredients except Rose Petals & Sugar & grind it to a powder form.
- Now, add Rose Petals & Sugar and churn once again so that everything blends well.
- Finally, your Thandai Premix is ready to be used or stored for 3 to 4 months in an air tight jar/container in fridge.
For preparing Thandai -- Firstly, take a grinding jar & grind all the above three Thandai ingredients.
- Then, garnish your Thandai using Garnishing the Thandai ingredients.
- Finally, your Thandai is ready to be served.
