Methi Rice
What you'll need:- Basmati Rice - 1 cup
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Garlic, Ginger & Green Chilly Paste - 1 tsp
- Fenugreek Leaves (Methi Leaves) - 2 tbsp (Chopped)
- Tomato (Chopped) - 1
- Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
- Red Chilly Powder - ½ tsp
- Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
- Fresh Coriander (Chopped) - 1 tbsp
- Water - 2 cups
- Salt - As per taste
How to make?- Firstly, take a pan, add Oil, Garlic, Ginger & Green Chilly Paste & cook for a minute or till aroma is released.
- Now, add finely chopped Methi Leaves & cook for a minute.
- Now, add chopped Tomato & Salt & cook till Tomato becomes tender.
- Now, add all ingredients from 6 to 9 & cook for a minute.
- Now, add Rice & mix properly so that everything blends well.
- Now, add water & cook on high flame till water evaporates.
- Now, make the flame low & cook for more 3-4 minutes.
- Finally, your Methi Rice is ready to be served.
