Golden Tea

What you'll need:

 For Golden Paste - 

  1. Ginger (Adrak) - 2 tbsp
  2. Turmeric Powder (Haldi powder) - ¼ tsp (Tip: If fresh yellow Turmeric is available, you can use 1 inch piece)
  3. Water - 2 tbsp

 For Tea - 

  1. Cinnamon - 1 inch piece
  2. Honey - As per taste
  3. Water - 1 glass

 For Garnishing - 

  1. Mint Leaves (Pudina) - 7 to 8

How to make?

  • Firstly, prepare Golden Paste using Golden Paste ingredients. For that, crush all the Golden Paste ingredients in a mixer jar. (Tip: If you want to store this Paste, take 1 cup Ginger, ½ tsp Turmeric Powder/2 inch piece of fresh Turmeric, ½ tsp Cinnamon Powder & ¼ cup Honey. Crush all these ingredients in a mixer. You can store this for 3 months in fridge)
  • Now, in a vessel, add 1 glass of Water & add 2 spoons of Golden Paste prepared above. Let it boil for 5 minutes.
  • Now, add 1 inch Cinnamon piece in it. Again, let it boil for more 5 minutes.
  • Now, turn off the flame.
  • Then, in a serving mug, put Honey as per taste & then strain the Tea prepared above.
  • Then, garnish your Tea with Mint Leaves.
  • Finally, your Golden Tea is ready to be served hot.
*Makes 2 to 3 cups
