Vegan Amla & Banana Smoothie

The best part about this smoothie is that it is vegan i.e. no milk is used while making this smoothie. This is a breakfast smoothie & this will keep you full for quite a while. This is very healthy & aids in weight loss/weight management. It is really good for people suffering from PCOS and/or Thyroid.

What you'll need:

  1. Amlas - 3 (Without seeds)
  2. Ripe Banana - 1
  3. Fresh Dates - 3
  4. Turmeric Powder (Haldi) - ½ tsp
  5. Black Pepper Powder - ¼ tsp
  6. Flax Seeds - 1 tsp
  7. Cinnamon - 1 inch piece
  8. Cashew Nuts (Kaju) - 5 (Tip: If Kaju is not available, you can use 5 Almonds soaked in water, without skin)
  9. Jaggery - 1 tsp / As per taste
  10. Mixed Melon Seeds - 1 tsp (Optional) (Tip: You can use either Watermelon Seeds or Musk Melon Seeds or both)
  11. Water - 1 cup

How to make?

  • Firstly, blend all the above mentioned ingredients by taking only ½ cup water on high speed in a mixer jar till smooth or till it is of smoothie consistency.
  • Then, add the remaining water & blend once again on low speed till it is of smoothie consistency.
  • Finally, transfer your smoothie into a Mason Jar/Glass of choice & serve.
