Instant Mini Rawa Onion Uttappa

What you'll need:

  1. Rawa - 1 cup
  2. Rice Flour - 1 cup
  3. Curd - 4 tbsp
  4. Eno Fruit Salt- ¼ tsp
  5. Salt - As per taste
  6. Water - As needed
  7. Oil for frying

 For Topping -

  1. Big finely chopped Onion - 1
  2. Chopped Green Chillies - 3
  3. Finely chopped Coriander Leaves - 1 tbsp

How to make?

  • Firstly, prepare the batter by mixing Rawa, Rice Flour, Curd & Water. Keep on adding water slowly while mixing the ingredients well till it forms medium thick batter. 
  • Now, cover this batter with a lid & keep it aside to rest for 20 minutes.
  • Now, after 20 minutes, add Salt as per taste & mix properly.
  • Now, add Eno Fruit Salt & 1 tbsp Water & 1 tsp Oil to activate the Eno Fruit Salt.
  • Now, heat tava on medium high flame, pour 1 tbsp of above batter, spread gently, put topping over it, sprinkle little salt over it & pat gently with spatula so that topping gets stuck & put all Uttappas in a similar way. You can cook 4 Uttappas at one time.
  • Now, put little oil on all sides of Uttappas & let it cook for 1 minute.
  • Now, flip the Uttappas & cook it on the other side too for 1 minute.
  • Finally, your Mini Onion Uttappas are ready to be served with Coconut Chutney or any Chutney of your choice.
