Hat Sweet (Diwali Special)

What you'll need:

  1. Milk Powder - 1 cup
  2. Pure Ghee - 2 tbsp
  3. Cardamom Powder - A pinch

 For Sugar Syrup -

  1. Sugar - ¾ cup
  2. Water - ½ cup

 For Garnishing -

  1. Silver Balls - 1 tsp
  2. Rose Petals

How to make?

  • Firstly, prepare the sticky Sugar Syrup with the help of above mentioned ingredients for Sugar Syrup on low to medium flame.
  • Now, in a bowl add Milk Powder, Pure Ghee & Cardamom Powder & mix properly with your hand to form a smooth dough.
  • Now, add this mixture to Sugar Syrup & cook for 3 to 4 minutes while stirring continuously till the mixture is dry or till the mixture leaves the sides of pan.
  • Now, take a small portion of the mixture in your finger tips & check if you can make a ball out of it without the mixture sticking on your fingers. Once you can make a small ball out of it, your mixture is ready.
  • Now, transfer the mixture into a greased tray.
  • Now, it's time to give shape to your sweet. Give Hat shape to your sweet mixture with your hands.
  • Now, garnish your Hat Sweet with Silver Balls & place a Rose Petal on the rim of each Hat.
  • Finally, your Hat Sweet is ready to be served.
Shelf Life - 7 days at room temperature & 10 days in fridge
