5 minutes Shahi Peda
What you'll need:- Skimmed Milk Powder - 2 cups
- Milk - ½ cup
- Sugar - ½ cup
- Melted Pure Ghee - 2 tbsp
- Cardamom Powder - ½ tsp
For Garnishing-- Pista - 1 tsp
- Dried Rose Petals - 1 tsp
How to make?- Firstly, in a pan mix Milk, Sugar, melted Ghee & Skimmed Milk Powder with a beater to form a smooth lump free mixture.
- Now, put the pan on low flame, cook the mixture for 5 minutes stirring continuously,till the mixture is dry or leaves the sides of the pan.
- Now, take a small portion of the mixture in your finger tips & check if you can make a ball out of it without the mixture sticking on your fingers. Once you can make a small ball out of it, your Peda mixture is ready.
- Now, transfer the mixture in a plate, add Cardamom Powder, apply little Ghee on your palms & smoothen the mixture using your hands.
- Now, with the help of rolling pin and board (Chakla Belan) flatten the mixture & give round shape or any shape of your choice.
- Finally, Garnish the Pedas with the above garnishing ingredients as shown in picture.
