Sugar-free Immunity Booster Sweet
This is a very healthy & nutritious sweet. The main thing that makes it healthier is that it is sugar-free. All ingredients used to make this sweet are very crucial for our body in some or the other way like for example, Pure Ghee which is considered to be a good fat is very essential for keeping our bones healthy & Edible Gum (Gondh) works as a cooling agent & reduces the temperature of the body. You can have this once a day but it is good to have it as breakfast.
What you'll need:- Pure Ghee - ½ cup
- Wheat Flour - ½ cup
- Soya Bean Flour - ¼ cup
- Black Millet Flour (Bajra Atta) - 2 tbsp
- Edible Gum (Gondh) - 2 tsp (Powdered)
- Cinnamon - 1 small piece
- Clove - 1
- Ginger Powder - ½ tsp
- Black Cardamom (Large) - ½ piece
- Dessicated Coconut - 2 tbsp
- Almond (Badam) pieces - 2 spoons
- Jaggery (Desi Gud) - ½ cup
- Milk - 1 tbsp
How to make?- Firstly, take all the spices mentioned from 6-9 number in the ingredients above, roast on low flame for 3-4 minutes, let it cool & grind it in a mixer.
- Now, heat Pure Ghee in a pan, add Wheat Flour, Soya Bean Flour & Black Millet Flour (Bajra Atta) & cook on medium flame till golden brown.
- Now, add Edible Gum Powder & cook for 2 minutes.
- Now, add grounded spice powder prepared in the 1st step, Desiccated Coconut & Badam pieces & cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Now, turn off the flame & stir the mixture continuously for 3-4 minutes to cool it a little.
- Now, add Jaggery & mix the mixture till the Jaggery melts. (Tip: Do not add Jaggery while the flame is still on otherwise your sweet will harden)
- Now, after the Jaggery has melted, add Milk, mix properly & transfer the mixture in a greased tray & cut it in pieces of your desired shape & size.
- Finally, your Sugar-free Immunity Booster Sweet is ready to be served.
