What you'll need:- Oil (Regular/Olive Oil) - 3 tbsp
- Garlic (Small) - 18 to 20 cloves
- Onion (Finely chopped) - 1
- Tomatoes - 7 pieces (cut into half)
- Oregano - ½ tsp
- Basil/Mixed Herbs - ½ tsp
- Red Chilly Flakes - 1 tsp
- Sugar - ½ tsp
- Paprika Powder/Red Chilli Powder - ½ tsp
- Tomato Ketchup/Tomato Puree - 2 to 3 tbsp (Optional) (Tip: But adding this will take your Pizza Pasta Sauce to another level so I would recommend adding it)
- Salt - As per Taste
How to make?- Firstly, heat oil in pan on low flame then add Garlic Cloves & finely chopped Onions in it & cook for 2 minutes.
- Now, add Oregano, Basil/Mixed Herbs & Red Chilli Flakes & again cook for a minute.
- Now, add Tomatoes & Salt, mix properly, cover the pan & let it cook for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes of cooking, Tomatoes will start releasing their skin. At this stage you can remove the skin of Tomatoes or keep it (as per your choice).
- Now, with the help of spatula start breaking the Tomatoes. Cook the Tomatoes for another 10 to 15 minutes till they become tender.
- After 15 minutes, the mixture will start leaving the sides of pan. Add Sugar to balance it out, add Paprika, increase the flame to medium high & cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Now, add Tomato Ketchup & cook for 2 more minutes.
- Now, turn off the flame, let it cool, then blend it in a mixer for 10 to 15 seconds.
- Your Pizza Pasta Sauce is ready to store.
Shelf Life: Can be stored for upto 1 month in fridge.
Tip: Whenever you want to use this Pizza Pasta Sauce, just add a little water & it will be ready to use.
