Pink Rose Ball Sweet (Raksha Bandhan Special)

What you'll need:

  1. Paneer - 250 grams (approximately 1 cup)
  2. Sugar - 4 tbsp
  3. Milk powder - ½ cup
  4. Rose Essence/Rose Water - 2 to 3 drops
  5. Red Food Colour - 1 drop

 For Filling:

  1. Finely Chopped Mixed Dry Fruits - 2 tbsp

 For Garnishing:

  1. Dry Rose Petals - 1 tsp

How to make?

  • Firstly, chop the Paneer roughly & grind it in the mixer.
  • Now, add Paneer to the pan & cook it on slow flame for a minute.
  • Now, add sugar & again cook for a minute while stirring continuously, then add Milk Powder & again cook for a minute till the mixture is dry or leaves the sides of  the pan.
  • Now, put off the flame, keep stirring continuously till the mixture cools off completely. At this stage, add Rose Essence and Red Food Colour to give it pink colour & smoothen the mixture with hand.
  • Now, flatten the mixture in the shape of a 2 inch round roti of medium thickness with the help of hands & put some mixed dry fruits in the centre & then make the round balls gently.
  • Finally, garnish with rose petals.
Shelf Life - 7 to 10 days in fridge
