Maggi Pakoda & Chai

Maggi Pakoda is a monsoon time snack which can be best enjoyed on a rainy evening with tea. It is very crunchy & crispy from outside and equally soft from the inside.

What you'll need:

  1. Maggi - 2 packs
  2. Maggi Masala - 1 tbsp
  3. Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
  4. Finely chopped Cabbage -2 tbsp
  5. Finely chopped Carrot - 2 tbsp
  6. Finely chopped Capsicum - 2 tbsp 
  7. Finely chopped Onion - 2 tbsp 
  8. Finely chopped Green Chilly - 1
  9. Butter - 1 tsp
  10. Red Chilly Flakes / Kashmiri Red Chilly Powder - 1 tsp
  11. Italian Seasoning / Pizza Seasoning / Oregano - 1 tsp
  12. Salt as per taste
  13. Grated Cheese / Cheese Slices / Paneer - 2 tbsp
  14. Bread Crumbs - 5 tbsp
  15. Crushed Maggi for coating 
  16. Oil for frying

 For Slurry:

  1. All purpose flour - 3 tbsp
  2. Water - ½ cup + 2 tbsp
  3. Salt as per taste

How to make?

  • Mix all the above ingredients except crushed maggi & oil & make a medium soft dough.
  • Grease square plate with oil & spread the dough on it & deep freeze the mix for 5 minutes.
  • Then cut the mix into squares of 1½ - 2 inches.
  • Then dip each square in all purpose flour slurry & then coat with crushed maggi & deep fry on medium flame until golden brown.
  • Serve hot with chai (tea) & sauce of your choice.
