Edible Good Luck Plant (Raksha Bandhan Special)

It is said that on special occasions, one should have something sweet. This Good Luck Plant is sweet & will definitely bring good luck for your Brother. You can also prank your Brother on the special occasion of Rakhi by eating this Edible Plant in front of your Brother and forcefully make him eat too.

What you'll need:

1. Paper Cups - 4 (As shown in the picture)
   
2. Dark Chocolate - 1 cup

 For Filling:

1. Pure Ghee/Butter - 1 tsp
2. Dates Pulp (of 8 to 10 dates)
3. Mixed Dry Fruit Powder - 4 to 5 tbsp 
4. Sugar - 1 tbsp

6. Chocolate Cake/Chocolate Biscuit Crumbs - 1 cup (You can use Oreo Biscuits/Chocolate Cookie Cake)

  For Garnishing:

1. Mint Sprigs - 4

How to make?

• Firstly, give ½ cm cut to all 4 paper cups.
  
• Now, melt the Dark Chocolate in microwave for a minute or melt it with the help of double boiler.
• Now, take it out and stir continuously till it reaches room temperature or cools down.
• Now, pour the melted chocolate in the paper cups upto ¼ height of the paper cup. 
• Now, twist & rotate cup until the cup is completely coated with chocolate. Let it chill in refrigerator for 20 minutes.
• Meanwhile, make the filling. For that, add ghee in a pan, date pulp,mixed dry fruits, sugar, milk/mawa/milk powder & cook on slow flame till the mixture is dry and smooth. Let it cool completely.
• Now, take out the cups from the fridge. Slowly & gently remove the chocolate cups from paper cups by tearing the paper cups from the cut given.
• Now, fill half of the chocolate cup with dates mixture prepared above & then in the remaining half, put cake/biscuit crumbs so that it creates the effect of mud.
• If you do not want to serve it instantly, store it in the fridge.
• While serving, add 1 mint sprig in the centre in each of the 4 chocolate cups so that it looks like a plant.
• Your Edible Good Luck Plant is ready to be served.

Shelf Life - Will easily last for a month in the fridge
