Aloo Sandwich Pakoda & Chai

Here's bringing you another pakoda recipe which can also be enjoyed on a cool rainy day. Aloo Sandwich Pakoda is similar to our famous Aloo Sandwich but in pakoda form. It is crispy as well as tasty & mouth-watering at the same time.
What you'll need:
Besan - 1 cup
Potato - 1
Sabut Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Baking Soda - A pinch
Green Chutney - 6 tbsp
Tomato Sauce - 6 tbsp
Imli Chutney as per requirement
Red Chilly Powder
Coriander leaves
Water as per requirement
Oil for frying
Salt as per taste
How to make?
Slice the potatoes in oval shape. Apply Salt & Red Chilly Powder on potatoes & keep aside.
Now mix all the ingredients except Tomato Sauce, Green Chutney & Baking Soda & make a smooth, lump-free medium-thick batter with the help of water.
Heat oil in a pan for frying.
Now add a pinch of Baking Soda in the above batter & put 1 tsp of hot oil in the batter to activate Baking Soda.
Take 1 slice of freshly cut oval shaped potato & apply Green Chutney on it & cover it with another oval shaped potato & then apply Tomato Sauce on the potato slice & finally cover the Tomato Sauce with another oval shaped potato.
Cover this potato sandwich with the batter prepared earlier & put it in hot oil to deep fry it till it turns crispier & golden brown from both sides.
Your pakoda is all crispy & ready to be served. Serve it with Green Chutney & Imli Chutney.
You can also serve it as is with chai (tea) or serve it with chai (tea) & onion rings (Recipe of onion rings coming soon).
