Paneer Tikka (Starter)


Paneer Tikka

What you'll need:

  1. 300 grams Paneer (Cut into 1 inch square pieces of ½ inch thickness)
  2. 1 medium sized Capsicum (Cut into 1 inch square pieces)
  3. 1 medium sized Onion (Cut into 1 inch square pieces)
  4. Oil for cooking
  5. Chaat Masala & Coriander Leaves for garnishing

    For Marination:

  1. 2 Tbsp Besan (Gram Flour)
  2. ½ Cup Curd
  3. 2 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  4. 2 Tsp Kashmiri Red Chilly Powder (For colour)
  5. 1 Tsp Jeera Powder
  6. 1½ Tsp Garam Masala
  7. 1½ Tbsp Mustard Oil/Normal Cooking Oil
  8. 4 Tsp Lemon Juice
  9. ¼ Tsp Turmeric Powder
  10. Salt to taste

How to make?

  • Firstly, marinate Paneer, Onions & Capsicum using above marination ingredients & keep it in the fridge for half an hour. Then take it out & shallow fry Paneer, Onions & Capsicum seperately on grill pan or normal tava.
OR

         Cook it in Microwave at 200 Degree Celsius for 6-8 minutes.

OR

         Put them in Skewers and shallow fry it.

  • Then, garnish with some Chaat Masala & Coriander Leaves & serve hot with Green Chutney, Onion Rings & Lemon Slices.

Your tangy tikka is ready to be served!
