No Oven Vanilla Mug Cake

What you'll need:
- Flour/Maida - 4 tbsp
- Powdered Sugar - 3 tbsp
- Baking Powder - 1 /16 tsp
- Baking Soda - ½ pinch
- Milk - 1+1 tbsp
- Butter/Vegetable Oil - 1 tbsp
- Cream/Malai - ½ tbsp
- Vinegar - 1 drop
- Vanilla Essence / Rose Essence (Rose Water) - ½ tsp
How to make?
- Firstly, pre-heat a vessel in which you are going to bake the cake and make sure the vessel has a tight lid so that the steam cannot escape.
- Now, place a stand inside the vessel. In case you don't have a stand, you can keep an inverted steel bowl of 1 inch height.
- Now, above the stand place a steel plate and cover the vessel with a lid and pre-heat the vessel for 5-6 minutes on medium flame.
- Now, in a mug, take flour/maida & powdered sugar & give it a good mix with a whisk or a hand-beater.
- Then, add baking powder & baking soda and then again give it a good mix.
- Now, add 1 tbsp of milk & add all the remaining ingredients and give it a good mix.
- Now, again add 1 tbsp of milk to ensure your batter has a pouring consistency & it is lump-free.
- Now, your mug cake is ready to be baked.
- Now, keep your mug inside the pre-heated vessel on a slow flame & let it bake for 30-35 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, insert a knife in the mug to check whether the cake comes out smoothly. If not, bake it for a few more minutes.
- Finally when the cake is baked, take your mug out of the vessel & garnish it with some gems or chocolate of your choice & it is ready to be served.
In case you do not want to wait for 30-35 minutes to bake your mug cake, you can bake the above cake in an oven too.
Simply put your mug containing the batter in the oven for 1 minute & voila, your cake is all ready.
